Parent guidance

Parenting children is not always that evident.
Regularly as a parent you find yourself in situations where you wonder if you're doing the right thing where you do not know what to do. You do not always know how to assist your child in the difficulties it passes through. Or you wonder what approach is best for your child.
As a parent you can contact us for an informal talk about education if you have any questions or if you're worried about your child. Together we examine what best suits your question:
Maybe you're helped with just one conversation in which you can tell your story, listen to our vision and go on with our tips.
Or you might need to come back several times to reflect on your questions about education.
Or it might be appropriate for your child to do playtherapy or psychotherapy.
We always check together with you which offer best suits your question.
We always work with both parents (except in case of a divorce where one parent doesn't want to be involved).
In a first interview Karin Verboven and I prefer to work together. Together we look at your question from our complementary backgrounds and experience.
If necessary, we refer you to a CKG (if you can use practical parent guidance at home), to the Vertrouwenscentrum (if your child was victim of mistreatment/abuse and you could use some help in dealing with this situation) or to other helpers.

One session takes one hour and costs 50 €.
